Milan are reportedly confident of securing Kyle Walker’s services this week and have booked medical tests for the England international on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Milan are finalising talks to sign Walker from Manchester City and are prepared to welcome the experienced defender on loan with an option to buy.

According to the latest report from Calciomercato.com, Walker is directly in talks with the Premier League giants, hoping to persuade the club to terminate his contract and allow him to move to San Siro on a free transfer.

The England international still has 18 months in his contract with Manchester City.

However, if Pep Guardiola blocks Walker’s free move, the Rossoneri would be ready to pay €1m for the player’s loan until the end of the season, adding an option to buy for €5m.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan hope to reach an agreement for Walker today so the 34-year-old would fly to Milan to undergo medical tests on Tuesday or Wednesday.

According to the report, the Rossoneri have already booked Walker’s medical tests at the private clinic La Madonnina in Milan for one of these two days.
