Ahead of next year’s campaign, Milan are earmarking several central defenders as the Rossonerri are keen on bolstering the back-line in the summer transfer window.
As it stands, it seems that English defender Fikayo Tomori is tipped for an exit as he struggled to find consistency in form this season, with Premier League outfits Tottenham and Chelsea monitoring the 27-year-old’s situation.
In addition, the Diavolo would be open to offloading 22 year-old Malick Thiaw if they receive a hefty fee, as Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and Bayern Leverkusen are intrigued by the German international.
Hence, Milan are prepared to invest in a young central defender that would add stability within the back-line after their recent struggles this season.
MilanNews reports that the Rossonerri have identified Caleb Okoli of Leicester City as an option, given his experience in the Serie A after having played with both Atalanta and Frosinone. Furthermore, the Milanese club have also short-listed long-time target Christhian Mosquera of Valencia and Verona’s Diego Coppola.
