Milan Primavera 2-1 Atalanta: Rossoneri return to winning ways | OneFootball

AC Milan’s Primavera side returned to winning ways this evening, courtesy of goals from Lorenzo Ossola and Max Ibrahimovic.

After the draw last week, and the loss before it, Milan needed to return to winning ways on Monday evening against Atalanta, and they did just that – holding on well despite a quick reply from La Dea.

Chances in the first half were shared between the two sides, but the substitute Ossola put the young Rossoneri side into the lead from the edge of the box with his first touch within 25 minutes. The youngster had only been on the field for 15 minutes, after the injury to the captain Victor.

Despite the first half being quite lame, the second half started with quite a lot of action, with the visitors having a few nice chances early on. However, they were not able to get themselves level due to Longoni.

Just 12 minutes after the half-time interval, the Diavolo found themselves ahead through Ibrahimovic, after a nice bit of work from Bonomi, leaving the attacker with only a tap-in.

Within seven minutes of the second goal, the visitors managed to pull one back from Ramaj, and despite a few good chances in the 30 minutes that followed, they were not able to draw level, meaning the Milan Primavera won their first game since February 8.
