Christian Pulisic has recovered from his ankle problem and will be available for AC Milan’s game against Juventus on Friday evening. Rafael Leao, on the other hand, will need a bit more time.

Milan have been forced to deal with some heavy absences lately, as evidenced by the makeshift starting XIs, but it seems Sergio Conceicao will kick off his adventure under slightly better circumstances. Indeed, according to MilanNews, good news has arrived from today’s session.

Pulisic, who had been struggling with an ankle problem, has recovered fully and trained with the group during the afternoon session. Leao continued his individual program but the hope is to have him on the bench against the Bianconeri.

The American has been one of the best players this season and having him back is a huge boost, increasing the Rossoneri’s chances of reaching the final of the Supercoppa Italiana. Juventus haven’t lost domestically this season, though, so the clash will be far from easy.

As a reminder, the Supercoppa is no longer a one-game tournament (like the good old days) but a three-game event with semi-finals and a final. The game against Juve will take place on Friday evening and the final is scheduled for Monday.
