Mohamed Salah will wear the captain’s armband for Liverpool this afternoon as he makes his 400th appearance for the club in their away match against Brighton.
It’s a major milestone for the Egyptian, who becomes just the 28th player in the club’s 132-year history to reach 400 games in a Liverpool shirt.
Since signing in 2017, Salah has been a standout figure for the Reds, racking up 244 goals in all competitions — including a club-record 183 in the Premier League.
He’s also just three goals short of moving into fourth place outright on the Premier League’s all-time scorers list.
Salah has been in sparkling form this season, helping to drive Liverpool’s title charge with 28 goals and 18 assists.
He’s currently on course to add another Golden Boot to his collection - which already includes three - and is also in the running for a second Playmaker award.
