According to Téléfoot, Mohamed Salah (32) wishes to remain at Liverpool despite his contract at Anfield set to expire at the end of the season. The Egyptian forward is currently free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with clubs around the world due to him being in the final six months of his contract.
Despite his contract status, Salah is prioritising staying on Merseyside. The French publication understands that the 32-year-old is not currently holding any negotiations with other clubs as he wishes to remain at the Premier League club. After scoring 30 goals and assisting a further 22, the Egypt international attacker is set for a potentially record-breaking season with the Reds.
Although Salah remains intent on staying with the Premier League leaders, no contract agreement has been reported as close. The Liverpool attacker has been linked with a move to PSG and Saudi Arabia in recent months, but with no contact taking place, a new contract at Anfield seems to be the priority for the former Chelsea forward.
