More than 70,000 tickets sold for England’s meeting with the United States | OneFootball

More than 70,000 tickets have already been sold for England’s international friendly against the United States at Wembley next month.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official ticket update from The Football Association earlier today.

The Lionesses are set to face the Olympic Gold Medalists at Wembley on Saturday 30 November 2024. The game will form part of the Lionesses’ preparations for the UEFA Women’s EURO in Switzerland next summer.

Tickets for the match have been on-sale for several weeks and it has now been reported that more than 70,000 have been sold. With more than three weeks to go until the fixture takes place, there is every chance that England could play in-front of a sell-out crowd.

England and the United States previously met in an international friendly at Wembley in October 2022. On that occasion, the Lionesses ran out 2-1 winners thanks to goals from Lauren Hemp and Georgia Stanway. The Stars and Stripes are expected to be tougher opponents this time around with former Chelsea boss Emma Hayes now at the helm. Hayes guided the United States to Gold at this summer’s Olympic Games in what was her first tournament in international management.
