Roma continues its race towards a European placement in the league, without being distracted by its commitment in the Europa League against Athletic Bilbao.
Tonight, at the Stadio Olimpico, Claudio Ranieri’s Giallorossi are set to face Monza, bottom of Serie A, with the aim of extending their streak of positive results.
In order to best prepare for the match, Ranieri chose not to speak at the press conference and opted for a moderate turnover.
Svilar has been confirmed in goal, while in defense a rest day is possible for one between Mancini and Ndicka, with the latter recovering from a slight physical problem.
Victor Nelsson is ready to make his debut from the first minute, while Celik should keep his place on the right.
Hummels, who has been out for a month, will also return to the starting lineup.
In midfield, Paredes could start from the bench, with Cristante flanked by Koné and Gourna-Douath in the running for a starting spot.
On the wings, Saelemaekers will return after his suspension in Europe, while on the left Angelino will compete for a spot with Salah-Eddine.
In attack, an alternation between Dybala and Soulé is expected, while Shomurodov will start as centre forward, with Dovbyk not called up due to physical problems.
