Official: Date and time confirmed for Milan-Roma Coppa Italia quarter-final | OneFootball

The date and time for AC Milan’s Coppa Italia quarter-final against Roma has been officially confirmed today by Lega Serie A.

A statement on the official website has now confirmed that the last eight tie against the Giallorossi will be played on Wednesday 5 February at 21:00 CET at San Siro. It will therefore fall after the return derby against Inter and before an away trip to face Empoli.

After beating Sassuolo 6-1 in the Round of 16, Milan’s path will therefore continue with the match against the team from the capital. It will be a one-off game, with the winner to meet Inter or Lazio in the semi-finals in what will be a two-legged affair.

Claudio Ranieri’s Roma beat Sampdoria 4-1 in the last round of the cup. Artem Dovbyk scored twice, with Tommaso Baldanzi and Eldor Shomurdov also scoring against their opponents from Serie B.

Milan are looking for their second bit of silverware under Sergio Conceicao after winning the Supercoppa Italiana earlier this month out in Saudi Arabia.
