Pointers as to availability for this Crystal Palace match and beyond.
Official Newcastle United injury update from Jason Tindall ahead of Crystal Palace at home on Wednesday night – 15 April 2025:
Jason Tindall updating on Eddie Howe, after the club revealed on Monday that the NUFC boss is recovering from Pneumonia:
“He’s in the best possible hands and he’ll be back as soon as he feels he’s ready to come back.
“Your health is the most important thing, that’s why it’s so important that when he comes back he is able to lead the team as we know he does, which I’m sure he will do.”
Jason Tindall’s on the injury situation after the 4-1 thrashing of Man U and ahead of facing Palace on Wednesday night:
“Everybody has come away from Sunday fine.
“It was good to get Anthony Gordon some minutes and good to have him back with the qualities he’s got.
“The squad is in good shape.”
Great news and then another bonus…
Jason Tindall on Joe Willock:
“He’s now exiting the concussion protocols so he’s available now to be involved in the squad tomorrow.”
With a lot of matches in a short space of time, great to now have Joe Willock and Anthony Gordon now available.
So as things appear to stand, only long-term absentees Lewis Hall, Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles will be definitely unavailable for this Palace match tomorrow night.
