Official: Real Madrid duo called up by Brazil for World Cup qualifiers | OneFootball

With the first international break of 2025 just around the corner, national teams have begun announcing the squad lists for the upcoming matches, and a number of Real Madrid stars are expected to be called up.

Earlier today, Brazil manager Dorival Junior announced the list of players he will be taking for their upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifier matches later this month, with two Real Madrid stars being called up.

Indeed, forwards Rodrygo Goes and Vinicius Jr. have been named in the squad by the Selecao manager as they get set to take on Colombia (March 20) and Argentina (March 25) in key fixtures.

Brazil are currently fifth in the qualifying table, seven points shy of leaders Argentina, and will need to close down the gap. And in order for that to happen, Dorival will heavily count on the Real Madrid duo of Rodrygo and Vinicius.

Teenage striker Endrick, however, has not been called up by the Brazil manager, who has named other young talents like Estevao Willian and Savinho in the squad.

Another Real Madrid star, Eder Militao, was not considered for selection as he is currently sidelined with a long-term injury.
