With the first international break of 2025 just around the corner, France manager Didier Deschamps has announced the squad list for their upcoming matches, with three Real Madrid stars being called up.
Indeed, Kylian Mbappe, Eduardo Camavinga, and Aurelien Tchouameni have all been named in the squad by the Les Bleus head coach.
Mbappe’s return is a headline news considering that the 26-year-old attacking superstar had not been part of the national team squad in the last two international breaks back in 2024.
The Real Madrid ace has blown hot and cold over the last few weeks but will be hoping to make a big impression upon his comeback to the France setup.
Tchouameni, meanwhile, is a permanent fixture in the squad for the French national team when fit and available. Camavinga, too, is a player that Deschamps counts on for his versatility.
France are set to take on Croatia in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Nations League across two legs. It would mean that Mbappe & co. will face their Real Madrid captain Luka Modric to fight for a spot in the semi-final.
