Barcelona star Raphinha is leading the continent’s top-5 leagues in the category of chance creation across the season to date.

Wide-man Raphinha, for his part, is of course in the midst of what has proven a superb opening to the 2024/25 campaign.

Looking like a player reborn under the watch of new head coach Hansi Flick, the Brazilian has dazzled both in a central role, and out wide on the left.

As much has given rise to a haul of 11 direct goal contributions across all competitions, by way of six goals, and five assists.

Raphinha’s latest creative masterclass came this past weekend, when the former Leeds United man laid on two of Robert Lewandowski’s three goals in a comfortable victory over Alavés.

And, in the process, Raphinha solidified his place atop the standings in one altogether noteworthy category.

As revealed by statisticians Opta:

‘Raphinha Dias has created 39 goalscoring chances for Barcelona this season in all competitions (5 assists), the most of any player from the top five European leagues.’
