MIAMICF Pachuca continues to lead in Liga MX Femenil, and the Florida Derby began the second half of the inaugural USL Super League season as the second month of the year kicked off across Concacaf W leagues.

Club América and Tigres UANL continue their preparations towards the inaugural Concacaf W Champions Cup Finals by maintaining themselves in the playoff race in Mexico.

Portland Thorns and Gotham, the other semifinalists, continue their preseason preparations as the start of the NWSL season approaches next month.

Pachuca Femenil maintains top spot in Mexican Clausura

The Tuzas continue to lead the standings after eight weeks of the Clausura 2025 season in Liga MX Femenil.

CF Pachuca’s latest victory came in a 6-1 result against FC Juárez, who are fourth in the table. Charlyn Corral struck a hat-trick in the encounter as she continues to lead the top scorer race with 13 goals.

Club América continues to stay on the heels of the leaders, only one point behind in second place, after a 3-2 win over CF Monterrey, who fell to fifth place.

Pumas UNAM rose to third place after a 2-nil win against Cruz Azul. CD Guadalajara (6th), Tigres UANL (7th), and Club Tijuana (8th) round out the Liguilla race.

USL Super League resumes 2024/25 season

The USL Super League is back for the second half of its 2024/25 season. The Florida Derby between the Tampa Bay Sun FC and Fort Lauderdale United FC kicked off the proceedings with a 2-2 draw.

Tampa Bay came back from two goals down with two penalty conversions, including the match-tying goal from Cecilie Fløe Nielsen in the 90+5.
