Paris FC to target between 6-8 Ligue 1 players in summer transfer window | OneFootball

According to a report from L’Équipe, Paris FC will look to target up to eight players during the summer transfer window after earning promotion back to Ligue 1 following a 46-year absence from the top flight.

Les Parisiens secured their promotion last night during a 1-1 draw with FC Martigues at the Stade Françis-Turcan. However, even as the celebrations continue, the club are considering how to prepare for a significant step up from Ligue 2.

Paris are thought to be looking to add between six to eight players with proven Ligue 1 experience to their squad for next season. This would be a similar tactic to the one they implemented in the winter transfer window.

In January, Paris looked to consolidate and add to their squad with Ligue 1 talents like Thibault De Smet (26), who left Stade de Reims for the capital side, rather than dramatically change the team.

Paris FC’s budget set to double

At a minimum, it’s expected that Paris FC’s operational budget will double from €30 million. However, it’s predicted that it could increase to as high as €100 million.
