True to its values of diversity, solidarity and equal opportunity, Paris Saint-Germain is dedicating the month of March to promoting equality through a series of impactful initiatives and events. 'Equality Month' is an opportunity to reaffirm the club's commitment to the emancipation of young girls and women, as well as all citizens, both on the pitch and in society at large.
Thursday 6 March - Leadership seminar for Club employees
A day dedicated to the Club's female employees, to support them in their professional development through conferences and inspirational workshops.
Saturday 15 March - SNIPES, cultural and community partner, hosts 'Allez les Filles' in Saint-Denis
Snipes Serves and PSG For Communities have teamed up to give young girls from the 'Allez les Filles' Saint-Denis programme the chance to spend an afternoon learning about hip-hop culture in their Saint-Denis shop and studios.
Wednesday 19 March - 'Femmes Capitales' evening at the Parc des Princes with Deloitte, official partner of the Women's Section
In partnership with Deloitte, the evening will bring together a wide range of economic figures, international athletes and artists to discuss the challenges facing women's sport and its driving role in society. The highlight of the evening will be the unveiling of a work celebrating Paris Saint-Germain's female players and legends.
Thursday 20 March - Launch of the Martin Luther King exhibition at the Maison du Campus
In collaboration with Sportitude and SOS Racisme, this exhibition will raise awareness among young people at the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy and all the Club's employees of the values involved in combating discrimination, by highlighting the legacy and impact of Dr. Martin Luther King.
Wednesday 26 March - 'Allez les Filles' speech competition
As part of the 'Allez les Filles' programme run by the 'PSG for Communities' endowment fund, five groups of girls (from Colombes, Paris's 18th arrondissement, Poissy, Saint-Denis and Vitry) will be taking part in specially adapted sports activities and preparing throughout March for an speech competition to promote public speaking and self-confidence. Their speeches will take place at the Parc des Princes in the presence of their sponsors and many other guests.
To mark World Autism Awareness Day, 120 children benefiting from the 'One Team' programme , which is supported by the 'PSG for Communities' endowment fund, will gather at the Parc des Princes for a football session. A unique moment of exchange, sharing and inclusion in the presence of Paris Saint-Germain athletes.
Through these actions, Paris Saint-Germain is pursuing its commitment to equality, convinced that sport is a powerful lever for emancipation and inspiration for younger generations.
