Udinese forward Lorenzo Lucca is attracting interest from Premier League clubs ahead of the January transfer window.
Lucca has scored seven times in 14 starts for the Italian side with clubs across Europe eyeing a move for the towering target-man. The 24-year-old’s form saw him handed an Italy debut in October, as he made his bow for the Azzurri against Israel.
He scored eight times and provided four assists in Serie A last season as Udinese narrowly avoided relegation. His goals this campaign have helped the side into the top half.
According to transfer journalist Ekrem Kronou, the 6ft 7in forward has admirers in Roma, Napoli and AC Milan, as well as clubs in England and Spain.
Lucca ranks seventh in Serie A for aerial duels won this season, while only Inter Milan’s Marcus Thuram has greater over-performed in terms of xG. Lucca’s seven goals have come despite an xG of just 3.94 this season.
