Liverpool looking to extend lead before Arsenal play

Liverpool will look to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table this weekend.

The Reds sit four points clear of Arsenal in the Premier League title race while still boasting a game in hand over the Gunners.

Arne Slot’s side take on Brentford on Saturday at 3pm and could increase their lead to seven points with a victory in west London. West Ham, meanwhile, host Crystal Palace in their second London derby of the week and Fulham head to relegation struggles Leicester.

The Gunners then have a chance to respond to whatever Liverpool do at Brentford when they host former manager Unai Emery and Aston Villa in the late game on Saturday.

Sunday sees Tottenham travel to Everton with both teams in dire need of a result, while Manchester United entertain Brighton. Manchester City then travel to Ipswich.

The action rounds off on Monday when Chelsea welcome Wolves.
