The Premier League table looking so sweet this Sunday night.
Now that all of the weekend’s top tier matches have been completed.
Five games played out on Saturday and another five on Sunday.
With only two weeks of the season remaining, this third last round of Premier League results could prove to have been key to the final outcome on 25 May.
Premier League results this weekend:
Saturday 10 May
Fulham 1 Everton 3
Ipswich 0 Brentford 1
Southampton 0 Man Coty 0
Wolves o Brighton 2
Bournemouth 0 Villa 1
Sunday 11 May
Newcastle 2 Chelsea 0
Man U 0 West Ham 2
Forest 2 Leicester 2
Spurs 0 Palace 2
Liverpool 2 Arsenal 2
Of the top seven in the Premier League table, only Newcastle United and Aston Villa won this weekend, with Chelsea losing and all of Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City and Forest drawing.
That now leaves the Premier League table looking like this on Sunday (11 May 2025) night:
A great sight for Newcastle United fans, after that significant victory over Chelsea and so many points dropped by others.
Champions League football is very much in United’s own hands and indeed, if Eddie Howe’s side win their last two matches, NUFC are guaranteed to finish second.
