French giants PSG march on tonight after a comfortable 4-1 win over visiting domestic rivals Monaco.

There was cause for celebration before kick-off at the Parc des Princes for PSG after the club announced the extension of manager Luis Enrique and a number of players.

One of them would immediately repay the club after Vitinha opened the scoring with a lovely free-kick in the 6th minute.

Typically dominant in possession, PSG failed to double their advantage before the half-time interval and allowed Monaco to work their way back into the match when they found an equaliser thanks to Denis Zakaria eleven minutes later.

But the second half would belong to the capital outfit, first, when Georgian star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia opened his account with what would ultimately be the match-winner in the 54th minute.

Star man Ousmane Dembélé would then put the result beyond doubt three minutes later as his brilliant goalscoring form continued to make it 3-1, before he, once again, bagged another brace in the dying minutes to extend the result to a 4-1 thrashing.

That was more than enough for PSG to close the book on proceedings as they now take a temporary 13-point lead over Marseille, while Monaco remains on course for the Champions League for the time being.
