Gianluigi Donnarumma isn’t too concerned with “forgiveness” from AC Milan if PSG beat Inter Milan in the Champions League final.
The Italian international spoke to Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica in an interview published in today’s print edition, via FCInter1908.
Inter Milan take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final at the end of this month.
And there will be one very familiar face on the other side in the form of goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Donnarumma is the teammate of a number of Inter players in the Italian national team.
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old has a long history with the Nerazzurri’s city rivals AC Milan.
Donnarumma came up through the Rossoneri’s youth academy. He established himself as their starting keeper even while he was still a teenager.

Gianluigi Donnarumma made the decision to leave AC Milan on a free transfer in the summer of 2021.
And it would be fair to say that this was a controversial choice by the Italian international.
Donnarumma alienated large sections of the Rossoneri fans. They felt that he had prioritized money over loyalty – and have never been shy about letting the goalkeeper know.
Of course, there will be numerous Milan fans rooting for Donnarumma’s Paris Saint-Germain team in the Champions League final.
Rossoneri fans would be happy to see their city rivals Inter lose out for the second time in three years.
Asked if he would like to be “forgiven” by the Milan fans, however, Donnarumma said “I don’t care.”
“I’m focused on the final,” said the 26-year-old. “And I want to win.”
“There’s always the rivalry with Inter,” Donnarumma continued.
“But at the same time, there will be a lot of my friends in front of me. Even if we’re adversaries on the pitch.”
