Barcelona star Raphinha secured for himself a place in an altogether exclusive club, on Wednesday night.
This, of course, comes owing to his latest scintillating display in the colours of the Blaugrana.
Hansi Flick’s troops marked their return to action yesterday evening, welcoming German giants Bayern Munich to Catalunya’s capital for a Champions League clash.
When all was said and done, Barcelona made short work of the Bavarians, to the tune of a 4-1 triumph which will live long in the memory.
The aforementioned Raphinha, meanwhile, proved himself the undisputed star of the show, notching a wonderful hat-trick, to keep alive what has been a stellar individual opening to the campaign.
And, as alluded to above, in the process, the former Leeds United man secured for himself a small piece of history.
As revealed by statisticians Opta, Raphinha is just the third Brazilian to net a hat-trick for Barcelona in a Champions League fixture, after the iconic trio of Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, and Neymar.
