Real Betis loanee Antony’s agent speaks out on Man United future | OneFootball

The agent of on-loan Manchester United star Antony has this weekend provided a fresh insight into his client’s future.

Winger Antony of course linked up with Manuel Pellegrini’s Real Betis on loan from Premier League giants Man United during the winter transfer window.

And, after another underwhelming first half to the season at Old Trafford, the former Ajax standout has since looked a player reborn in Spain.

After securing Man of the Match honours on his debut against Athletic Club, Antony opened his account in the colours of the Verdiblancos last weekend in a meeting with Celta Vigo, before finding the net once more versus Gent on Thursday.

As much has given rise to inevitable early chatter surrounding the plans for the Brazilian beyond the conclusion of his loan in the summer.

Speaking to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano on Saturday, the subject of as much was in turn put to Antony’s representative, Junior Pedroso.

And Pedroso went on to confirm:

“Saudi and Premier League clubs wanted him but Real Betis was the best solution, he’s so happy there. There’s no buy option and he respects (Ruben) Amorim a lot… his future at Man United remains an open story.”
