Earlier today, Real Madrid confirmed that midfielder Eduardo Camavinga had suffered a hamstring injury.
The 22-year-old is said to have sustained the injury during last night’s Copa del Rey encounter against Celta Vigo, which went into extra time.
Given the nature of the injury, Camavinga is expected to be out for a period of three weeks, meaning he will be out of action during a busy period for Real Madrid.
As things stand, Camavinga will miss the La Liga matches against Las Palmas, Real Valladolid, and Espanyol, as well as the Champions League ties versus RB Salzburg and Brest.

The French international will also be unavailable for the Copa del Rey quarterfinal and his availability for the derby against Atletico Madrid on February 9 is uncertain.
However, according to MARCA, if everything goes according to plans, Camavinga will be in a position to return for the contest against Diego Simeone’s side.
The completion of the three-week recovery period for Camavinga coincides exactly with the derby, but the midfielder had recovered earlier than expected from his last injury.
And, if his recovery progresses according to plan and there are no setbacks, there is a chance that he could be ready just in time for Real Madrid to take on their neighbours in the derby.
Camavinga has already had two spells out on the sidelines this season, missing more than ten matches as a result.
Carlo Ancelotti & co. will hope to have the 22-year-old former Rennes starlet back in training at the earliest possible.
