According to MARCA, Real Madrid is planning a bold move to sign Athletic Bilbao’s star winger Nico Williams, a top target for rivals Barcelona, in a deal valued at €58 million.

The 22-year-old Spanish international has caught the attention of Los Blancos with his explosive pace, technical quality, and immense growth potential making him the ideal fit for Xabi Alonso’s setup.

The report does, however, add that the potential signing of Williams could trigger a major shake-up in Real Madrid’s attacking lineup.

With an already stacked forward line featuring stars like Vinicius Jr., Mbappe, and Rodrygo, the arrival of the Bilbao star might lead to an exit to balance the squad.

Rodrygo, in particular, could be at risk, though other attackers are also being considered for potential departures to accommodate Williams’ inclusion.
