Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has on Wednesday joined a pair of altogether high-profile names in the goalscoring charts of the Champions League.
This comes owing to his exploits in Real Madrid’s meeting with RB Salzburg.
Los Blancos are of course currently locked in action on the continent, having welcomed Austrian outfit Salzburg to Spain’s capital for a Champions League clash.
And, as things stand, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops find themselves well on their way to another three-point haul, leading by five goals to nil.
Amongst the goals on the evening was the aforementioned Kylian Mbappé, who made it 3-0 early in the 2nd-half.
And, as alluded to above, owing to as much, the Frenchman has joined two top-class attackers in the Champions League record books.
Mbappé has now racked up 51 goals in European football’s premiere club competition.
This is the same number managed by both Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah (to date) and Arsenal icon Thierry Henry.
