Iker Bravo has always been a curious case in Spanish football. Raised as a product of the famed La Masia youth academy in Barcelona, the youngster had joined the Leverkusen camp in 2021.

In an intriguing twist of fate, Bravo ended up joining the ranks at RM Castilla just a year later, albeit on a loan deal.

The player eventually returned to Leverkusen in 2024, after two years on loan with in Madrid, where he played for Castilla and the Under-19 team, before signing a deal with Udinese last summer for a fee of just over half a million.

Iker Bravo’s rise at Udinese

Although Bravo was signed as more of a future prospect in the summer, the youngster appears to be making waves with his performances for the senior team this season.

At the age of just 19, the young forward has already racked up almost 400 minutes of competitive action for Udinese this season, racking up a goal and an assist.

Although far from being a first-team regular, Bravo has managed to impress in the limited opportunities he has had so far.

Real Madrid keeping tabs on Bravo

Iker Bravo’s rapid rise to prominence has not gone unnoticed either, with Real Madrid among the clubs interested in his services.

This is according to SPORT, which suggests the Los Blancos are closely monitoring the progress of the young Udinese starlet in Serie A.

It must be remembered that Real Madrid had a buy option for Bravo while he was on loan but the club did not activate it.

Real Madrid are not the only interested party, though, with several other European outfits tracking the growth of Bravo, who is advertised as a nimble forward.

The player, for his part, made the decision to join Udinese to gain more first-team action. Although Bravo is aware he has a long way to go before he can prove himself, he is fairly confident of his potential and his ability to fulfil that potential.
