The 2011/12 Premier League season will forever be remembered by Sergio Aguëro's title-deciding stoppage time goal on the final day against QPR.

But there was an equally critical goal a few months prior which helped set the stage for the diminutive Argentine to put Manchester City's title confirmation in the post.

Though his contributions to Man City were up and down across his five-year spell at the Etihad after arriving from Arsenal, Samir Nasri bagged arguably the most important goal of his career during his first season with the club.

On this day back in March of 2012, City found themselves a goal down at home against Chelsea after a Gary Cahill opener put the Blues in front in the 60th minute, before Aguëro equalised from the penalty spot 18 minutes later.

A brilliant attacking interchange started by Nasri, who laid off for Carlos Tevez, whose expert return pass put the French midfielder in on goal, and, well, you remember the rest.

While it never carried the same plaudits as Aguëro's goal come May, Nasri's strike crucially allowed City to remain on course to break their duck.
