In the last few hours, a landing in Salzburg was enough to spark the imagination of Roma fans.
The Friedkins’ private jet, which took off yesterday from Houston and after a brief stop in Nice, stopped in the Austrian city, where Red Bull’s headquarters are located.
One detail in particular drove the Giallorossi supporters crazy: Jürgen Klopp, former Liverpool coach, now works with the Red Bull group as head of affiliated teams.
The possibility that the arrival of the presidential jet is linked to a meeting with the German coach has sparked enthusiasm on social media: “They’re going to get Klopp,” is the recurring comment.
But as Il Messaggero reports, Dan Friedkin was not on board the plane.
The American owner is in fact still in the capital, working on the appointment of Roma’s new head coach alongside Florent Ghisolfi and Claudio Ranieri.
