Manchester United will head to London for an intense showdown with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League this Sunday.
The Red Devils currently find themselves in 13th place on the table, sitting on 29 points, while Spurs trail closely behind with 27 points.
Amid the struggles of the 2024/25 season, United legends Roy Keane and Gary Neville have boldly backed their former team to come out on top this weekend.
In the latest episode of The Overlap, Keane has predicted a resounding 3-1 victory for United, while Neville anticipates a more nail-biting 2-1 win.
Both teams are in desperate need of a morale-boosting win.
The injury crisis has compounded the misery for Spurs’ manager Ange Postecoglou.
United head coach Ruben Amorim lost Lisandro Martinez to an ACL injury for the rest of the season but has fewer injury concerns compared to his counterpart.
The Red Devils were hammered by Spurs in a 3-0 loss at Old Trafford earlier this campaign.
Bruno Fernandes picked up a straight red card for a foul on James Maddison.
The London outfit had the upper hand once again in December, sending United crashing out of the Carabao Cup.
The United supporters will be eager to get revenge.
Keane has predicted United to score three goals, but the last time they hit three or more in a Premier League game was on December 1st, in a 4-0 win over Everton.
They lack the cutting edge in front of the goal with Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee struggling to find form.
The responsibility will fall on Amad Diallo, Fernandes, and Alejandro Garnacho to provide the creativity and challenge Tottenham’s defence.
While Keane and Neville have backed United for victory, Spurs are more than capable of defeating any team when they hit their stride.
