Paulo Dybala could be given a rest for Roma’s upcoming Serie A match against Cagliari on Sunday afternoon following the Giallorossi disappointment in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Roma are looking to bounce back after an exit from the Europa League round of 16 at the hands of Athletic Club on Thursday evening, a game in which Mats Hummels was sent off within the first 10 minutes.

The 2014 World Cup winner is likely to be taken out of the Roma line-up against Cagliari, which could bring an opportunity for Viktor Nelsson at the back, with Zeki Celik also out injured.
With Dybala also likely to be among the substitutes against Cagliari, there could be returns to the starting line-up for both Matias Soule and captain Lorenzo Pellegrini. Eldor Shomurodov is in line to start over Artem Dovbyk in attack.
Kick-off is due at 15.00 GMT.
Roma (3-4-2-1): Svilar; Nelsson, Mancini, Ndicka; Saelemaekers, Konè, Cristante, Angelino; Soulé, Pellegrini; Shomurodov.
Cagliari (3-5-1-1): Caprile; Mina, Luperto, Palomino; Zortea, Adopo, Makombou, Deiola, Augello; Viola; Piccoli.
