A shocking report has made what seems to be a very unlikely claim about Leicester City icon Jamie Vardy. While Vardy is a Premier League veteran at 38 years of age, he also remains a fairly potent and wildly popular striker. The article in question speculates over the legendary Fox's future on Filbert Way. This rumour could have LCFC fans of all ages in hysterics if it turns out to be true. Whether it is accurate or not remains to be seen at this stage.
The one-time Fleetwood Town centre forward will be out of contract when 2024/25 comes to an end. And his football journey could apparently continue elsewhere. Ultimately, it is said that the former England international might perhaps leave the east Midlands at the end of the current campaign. This hearsay will surely catch some supporters off guard and have them wondering about an unenviable and bizarre scenario.
Supposedly, Vardy may sign for a rival English top-flight club over the summer as a free agent. Surprisingly, the team we are talking of are one of the most well-known and one highly respected sporting organisations worldwide. Do we consider this chatter to be sincere? And is there a decent chance of the No.9 leaving or retiring soon? Let's see.
We've all got to come to terms with Vardy's eventual retirement. Though nobody in the Leicester fan base could imagine him finishing his career elsewhere. That would be a nightmarish football vision for some of us.
In all honesty, I think he will end his playing days at King Power Stadium. I also believe the suggestion that he'll sign for Manchester United to be fanciful and probably inaccurate. Nevertheless, Foxes of Leicester like to address all rumours.
