Being injury-free did not last long for AC Milan, and Sergio Conceicao will be without five players for Friday night’s game against Bologna.
Milan resumed training at Milanello today in preparation for tomorrow night’s Serie A match against Bologna at San Siro, a match that matters more for the visitors who are still fighting to reach the Champions League.
The Rossoneri’s minds are already focused on next Wednesday’s Coppa Italia final, and this is expected to be reflected in Conceiçao team selection, with some big changes planned to freshen things up.
However, as Sky (via MilanNews) report this afternoon, his attempts to rotate effectively are not helped by the list of absences, starting with Rafael Leao who got a yellow card in the win over Genoa and must serve a suspension.
Youssouf Fofana will be preserved for the final, while Riccardo Sottil and Warren Bondo still have some discomfort too. Emerson Royal has just returned to full training after a long injury and is therefore still far from his best form, so he will not be available.
All the other players will be available, and Francesco Camarda will also be part of the list of players called up given he cannot feature for Milan Futuro. It remains to be seen what the team will be, but Sky also predict ‘a few changes’.
