Manchester United returned to winning ways on Wednesday with a comfortable 5-2 triumph over Leicester City at Old Trafford.

Him and Manuel Ugarte look a solid pairing in the centre of the park for United and the duo are likely to keep their places in Sunday’s league game against Chelsea at Old Trafford.

United are working on a deal to appoint Ruben Amorim as their new manager but as things stand, Ruud van Nistelrooy is expected to continue as the caretaker after Erik ten Hag’s exit.

The Red Devils are languishing in the 14th spot in the top-flight with only 11 points. The club are seven points adrift of the guaranteed Champions League positions at the moment.

They can ill-afford to drop more points and Sunday’s game appears a must-win. United fans will be hoping that the club can carry forward the momentum from last night’s victory.
