“They’re all over the place” – EPL legend predicts Man United vs Fulham final result

Iconic England striker Alan Shearer offers his prediction for Sunday’s FA Cup contest between Manchester United and Fulham.
The Red Devils have been enduring a miserable Premier League campaign, currently lying 14th in the table, but at least they’ve been progressing in the cups. Ruben Amorim’s men will play Real Sociedad in the Europa League Round of 16 next week, but before turning their attention to their continental commitment, they will have to negotiate a tough tie against Fulham in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The title holders will host the contest at home, but playing at Old Trafford has been a burden rather than an advantage for United on many occasions this term.

Therefore, Shearer believes the visiting side from West London could have the upper hand over the Reds who have been in disarray, even when beating Ipswich Town in their most recent outing.
“This is a tough one to call. I’ll be there at Old Trafford doing co-commentary live on the BBC. I watched the Man Utd game for the first-half against Ipswich and once again they were all over the place,” noted the Premier League all-time leading goal-scorer via Metro.
“This game is a tough one to call. It will be a long afternoon – I’m not impressed with Man United, they’re in a really tough situation at the moment, so I’m going to go for an away win. Prediction: Fulham win.”
Curiously, Sheared had also tipped Fulham to victory when the two sides met in late January for a Premier League contest held at Craven Cottage. However, he was proved wrong on that occasion, with Lisandro Martinez delivering the late winner for Amorim’s men, albeit against the run of play.
