Every single player at FC Barcelona is always looking to make a name for themselves. After all, it is a privilege in itself to play for a club as prestigious as the Catalan giants. Unfortunately, however, not every player gets the kind of opportunity they want at Barcelona.

Since the team is essentially fighting for each and every single major title this season, it is rather risky for Hansi Flick to think about giving minutes. Instead, the Barcelona coach tends to now stick with his most dependable players as each game is crucial moving forward.

Still, that does not mean that certain players are not left frustrated with their lack of playing time. Even following the amazing comeback against Celta Vigo recently in La Liga, a new report suggests that at least three players were left visibly frustrated during various stages of the match either due to being subbed off or never getting to come on.

As highlighted by Fichajes, there were three Barcelona players who seemed to be frustrated with Hansi Flick for his apparent lack of faith in them. One of them was a starter in the game, and the two others never set foot on the pitch to play even a single minute.

The starting player was Ferran Torres, who had a great game on an individual level. Scoring the opener and giving his all on the field, his substitution likely came as a surprise to him. Moreover, after being taken on, he had a visibly frustrated reaction and even brushed off the team’s assistant coach when he tried to interact with him.

Another player who seemed to have been left unhappy was Ansu Fati, who never got to come on during the game. He warmed up, perhaps with the hopes of getting some minutes, but he never got them. Moreover, he displayed some animated gestures near the bench and it is clear to see that he has been left quite frustrated at his situation.

Lastly, Hector Fort was another one of the players who seemed to have an issue. Perhaps he was expecting to play today, because following the end of the game he refused to celebrate with the coach, and that pretty much confirmed the fact that he was not at all happy.

Moving forward, it remains to be seen if these bench players end up getting any more prominence this season. However, considering what is at stake for Barcelona, it would be quite unlikely for Flick to experiment or give playing time to players who are not among his best and most trusted assets.
