Sky Sport Italia and Corriere dello Sport reported today that Antonio Conte’s side had already opened talks with the Manchester City star, who is available as a free agent as he won’t be offered a contract extension. But which other transfer stories deserve to be highlighted?
Transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà has reported that Juventus, Inter and Manchester City are among the clubs interested in the Italy captain, who hasn’t yet extended his contract with PSG, which runs out in 2026. According to the report, Inter would be ready to offer a €9m-a-year salary, but only if Gigio leaves on a free transfer next year.

According to SempreMilan, the Rossoneri are keeping a close eye on Arsenal striker Trossard, another player whose contract expires in 2026. However, talks between the Gunners and the 30-year-old are progressing positively, so it remains to be seen whether the Rossoneri can squeeze in between and tempt the Belgian to leave North London.
Fiorentina winger Robin Gosens argued that Bayern Munich legend Thomas Muller would be warmly welcomed at the Stadio Franchi: “I think the passionate Italian football fans would welcome a player like Thomas Muller with enthusiasm,” said the winger.
“Tuscany is a marvellous region, with good food, lots of sun and a welcoming atmosphere. It would certainly be an interesting adventure for him to come here.”
The former Juventus coach and serial Serie A winner has been linked with Napoli, Milan, and Roma. The Italian has been spotted in Rome to watch the Italian Open, prompting Italian media to speculate that he could also use his trip to meet Roma owners.
