Transfer intermediary launches €3m lawsuit against Barcelona | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona are the subject of a €3 million lawsuit on the part of a transfer intermediary involved in Jules Koundé’s move to the club.

That’s according to Carlos Monfort of Jijantes, who has on Wednesday provided an insight into the situation.

Defender Koundé of course sealed a transfer to Catalunya’s capital back in the summer of 2022, from Barcelona’s La Liga rivals, Sevilla.

An intermediary by the name of Isaac T. López for his part claims that he played an ‘essential’ role in the move coming to fruition.

López therefore feels as though he is entitled to an agreed compensatory fee, which is yet to be sent his way by Barcelona.

And as much has led the transfer insider to take the matter to court.

As per a report from the aforementioned Carlos Monfort:

‘An intermediary in the Koundé operation is suing Barça for not delivering his €3 million commission. Isaac T. López was part of the negotiations and says he had “an essential role in the negotiation and acquisition of the player”.
