TSG sign top Ivorian talent Bazoumana Touré | OneFootball

Bundesliga football club TSG Hoffenheim have signed 18-year-old top talent Bazoumana Touré from Swedish first-division club Hammarby IF. The Ivory Coast U20 international has penned a long-term contract in the Kraichgau.

"Bazoumana has drawn the attention of many top European clubs thanks to his consistently strong performances in Sweden. That makes us all the more delighted that he ultimately chose to take the next step of his career at TSG Hoffenheim with full conviction," said Andreas Schicker, the Managing Director for Sport at TSG, who continued: "Bazoumana is a high-talented and therefore also a very exciting player, who already possesses very good abilities at his young age and still has enormous potential for development. He is a quick, technically strong and dangerous attacking player who fits in with our philosophy of play very well. He will get all the time he needs from us to acclimatise in the Kraichgau and to take the next steps on a sporting level."

Bazoumana Touré moved from his hometown club ASEC Mimosas in the Ivory Coast to Hammarby IF in Sweden in March 2024. Upon arrival in Europe, the 18-year-old attacking player immediately became the shooting star of the Swedish league, scoring nine goals in 23 appearances and setting up a further four goals. Thanks in part to Touré's performances, Hammarby unexpectedly finished as the runners-up in the Swedish league last season.

The 18-year-old goalscorer is a current Ivory Coast U20 international and has made three appearances for his home country's youth team since making his debut against South Korea in June 2024.
