VAR was the villain once again on Saturday as Manchester United claimed a late draw away at Everton.

Ruben Amorim's side rallied in the dying minutes to claim a share of the spoils at Goodison.

But they were lucky to do so as the home side thought they had earned themselves a penalty with virtually the last kick of the game.

Matthijs de Ligt pulled Ashley Young inside the area, and as the veteran defender went down, the referee immediately blew for a penalty.

After a lengthy VAR check however, the decision was overturned much to the consternation of everyone in blue inside the stadium.
