Concerning footage of Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has come to the fore in the early hours of Wednesday.

This comes owing to developments in Poland’s Nations League meeting with Croatia late last night.

En route to a pulsating 3-3 draw between the sides, Lewandowski, sporting a ‘minor injury’, was left on the bench from the off in Warsaw.

During the 2nd-half, however, the 36-year-old was introduced to proceedings.

And it was not long before the former Bayern Munich man found himself in the very thick of things.

After laying on Poland’s equaliser midway through the 2nd-half, Lewandowski was soon the victim of a horror challenge on the part of Croatia no.1 Dominik Livaković.

The latter was shown a straight red card for his part in the incident, with Barcelona’s veteran frontman, somehow, having managed to see out the remaining quarter of an hour of action.

As alluded to above, however, post-match, Lewandowski was spotted looking altogether worse for wear.

On his way out of the PGE Narodowy, the experienced goalscorer was caught on camera limping heavily, a no doubt alarming development for Hansi Flick and the Barcelona coaching staff ahead of the club’s weekend meeting with Sevilla.
