West Ham United are waiting to see whether Celtic will change their stance on Daniel Cummings before the window closes.

The 18-year-old centre forward is highly rated at Celtic and he is eager for first-team game time.

Cummings’ deal with Celtic runs out in May and West Ham have a pre-contract agreement with the player ready for him to sign.

However, West Ham and Celtic entered into negotiations to make a deal for Cummings happen in the ongoing window.

The Hammers have seen their bid in the region of £500,000 being rebuffed by Brendan Rodgers’ side.

West Ham have returned with another improved offer for Cummings which has been suggested to be their final offer for Celtic.

However, the Bhoys have yet to agree a deal and, according to ExWHUEmployee, West Ham are waiting to see whether Celtic will budge in their stance as transfer deadline nears.

Rodgers handed out Cummings his Celtic debut against Aston Villa in the Champions League last week.

It has been suggested that Celtic are unhappy at losing Cummings who has been a stand out player for their development side.
