Wycombe Wanderers want to sign Portsmouth goalkeeper Will Norris before Monday's deadline.
Wycombe Wanderers are keen on a deadline day move for Portsmouth goalkeeper, Will Norris, to provide competition with Franco Ravizzoli.
The 31-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Fratton Park, following some shaky performances in the first half of the campaign, and this has seen Norris given the green light to find a new home this month.
The Sun has revealed that promotion-chasing Wycombe are looking to land the goalkeeper's signature to provide competition for the current number one, Ravizzoli.
Wanderers are pretty spoiled for choice when it comes to goalkeepers. Currently, the Buckinghamshire outfit have Ravizzoli, Nathan Bishop and Shamal George as senior shot-stoppers at the club.
However, according to the latest reports by The Sun, the managerless League One club are keen to add yet another keeper to their ranks. They've turned their attention to out-of-favour Portsmouth goalkeeper Norris, who has featured just eight times in the Championship for the Blues this season.
The 31-year-old recently rejected a move to fellow League One outfit, Barnsley, and is now reportedly someone who Wycombe are keen to sign before Monday's transfer deadline. Norris experienced promotion from the third tier with Pompey last season, and will look to repeat that feat with the Chairboys come May.
He featured in every single one of Portsmouth's league fixtures last season, as John Mousinho's side won League One. During this fine stint, Norris kept 19 clean sheets and conceded 41 goals, averaging less than a goal conceded per game.

Ravizzoli has featured in all but two of Wycombe's league fixtures this season, which has seen them skyrocket up towards the summit of the league table.
The Argentine was the hero for his side on Saturday, saving a penalty and producing some fine stops to earn the 10-men of Wycombe a point at Cambridge United.
However, after successfully fending off the competition from Sunderland loanee Bishop, it looks like the 27-year-old is going to have to fight to retain his place between the sticks once again.
Ravizzoli has kept nine clean sheets in 27 outings this season, as his side have mounted an unexpected promotion charge.
It now looks like the potential arrival of the League One winner will see the former MK Dons keeper fighting to retain the gloves once again. He started the season as second-fiddle to Bishop, but came into the side after the Sunderland man sustained an injury against Birmingham City.
Healthy competition in the goalkeeping spot is always a good thing to have, as players will be pushed to their maximum in order to retain the gloves. Now, with a senior keeper and experienced winner potentially coming through the door, the Argentine will have to bring his A-game to compete with Norris.
