13 Barcelona stars report for training on day off | OneFootball

A whole host of leading members of La Liga giants Barcelona’s players opted to report for training, despite being afforded a day off on Friday.

Barcelona, of course, are fresh off cruising to another dominant victory on Thursday night.

After making the trip to Mestalla for a Copa del Rey quarter-final meeting with Valencia, the Blaugrana ran riot, to the tune of an eventual 5-0 result.

Amid a hectic fixture list at present, Barca will be back in action in just two days’ time, in a La Liga meeting with Sevilla.

Upon returning to base in Catalunya’s capital following their trip to Valencia, Hansi Flick therefore opted to cancel his squad’s recovery training session on Friday morning.

But, as alluded to above, 13 players nevertheless opted to take to the pitch at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, reiterating their commitment to the cause.

As per Carlos Monfort of Jijantes, the stars in question came in the form of:

Koundé, Ferran, Gavi, Balde, Íñigo, Christensen, Szczęsny, Eric, Lewandowski, Araújo, Olmo, Raphinha and De Jong.
