15.30 kickoffs: 10-man Dortmund throw away lead, Bayern extend lead to Leverkusen | OneFootball

Following the sacking of Nuri Sahin, Borussia Dortmund were on course for a much-needed win under interim coach Mike Tullberg.

But playing with 10 men, they threw away a two-goal lead as Werder Bremen came back to draw 2-2 at Signal Iduna Park.

Things were made difficult for Dortmund when Nico Schlotterbeck was sent off in the 21st minute for a challenge on Marco Grüll.

But despite being a man down, it was Dortmund who took the lead in the 28th minute when Serhou Guirassy's header found the back of the net.

And Guirassy was involved again early in the second half when his shot hit Marco Friedl and went in to give Dortmund a two-goal advantage.

For a long time, Bremen struggled to take advantage of playing 11 against 10, but then, out of nowhere, Leonardo Bittencourt brought them back into the game with an excellent strike from distance in the 65th minute.

And with 72 minutes on the clock, former Borussia Dortmund striker Marvin Ducksch popped up to make it 2-2 and earn the visitors a draw.

Elsewhere, Bayern extended their lead to Bayer Leverkusen to six points at the top of the table with a 2-1 win over Freiburg.

Goals from Harry Kane and Kim Min-jae gave the Bavarians a two-goal lead before Matthias Ginter pulled one back for Julian Schuster's side.

Meanwhile, Leverkusen were held to a 2-2 draw by RB Leipzig at the Red Bull Arena after squandering a two-goal lead. Patrik Schick and Aleix García put Leverkusen ahead, with both goals brilliantly set up by Florian Wirtz. But David Raum's free-kick brought Leipzig back into the game, and a late own goal from Edmond Tapsoba earned the hosts a point.

At the WWK-Arena, Keven Schlotterbeck score a late winner to earn Augsburg a 2-1 win over Heidenheim.

Finally, goals from Nelson Weiper and Anthony Caci gave Mainz a 2-0 win over Stuttgart. Die Nullfünfer are now fifth in the table, just one point behind fourth-placed Stuttgart.
