2 Barcelona, 1 Real Madrid: The official Champions League Team of the Week | OneFootball

The official UEFA Champions League Team of the Week has on Thursday been unveiled online.

And it features a trio of leading La Liga stars.

Two come from Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad, fresh off a 10-man Blaugrana emerging triumphant from an away trip to Benfica on Wednesday.

Recognised for their respective efforts are Pedri – who conjured up another masterclass in the middle of the park – and Raphinha, who notched the game’s only goal.

Turning attentions towards Real Madrid, and it’s Rodrygo who gets the nod when it comes to the Team of the Week.

Frontman Rodrygo set the scoring in motion in Tuesday’s Madrid Derby, driving home a wonderful left-footed finish en route to a 2-1 Blancos victory.

He, too, has therefore been given the nod for UEFA’s XI, alongside the likes of Alisson, Benjamin Pavard, and Harry Kane.
