4 Barcelona stars cycled to visit Ferran Torres in hospital after La Liga title win | OneFootball

A quartet of Barcelona stars made the trip to a local hospital in the aftermath of the club’s La Liga title triumph on Thursday night.

This came to ensure that teammate Ferran Torres was not feeling left out.

Barcelona are of course fresh off adding to the club’s trophy cabinet once more late yesterday evening.

After making the trip across Catalunya for a La Liga meeting with neighbours Espanyol, the Blaugrana emerged on the right side of a 2-0 result, to officially secure the Spanish top-flight title.

The aforementioned Ferran, for his part, was forced to watch on from afar en route to as much, after undergoing surgery for appendicitis on Wednesday night.

As alluded to above, though, several leading members of Hansi Flick’s squad ensured that the Spanish international was not left to celebrate on his own…

As per a report from Barca insider Gerard Romero of Jijantes, Dani Olmo, Eric García, Pedri and Iñigo Martínez made the trip to the hospital late last night, to visit and celebrate with Ferran.

The quartet are understood to have made their way to the facility on bicycles.
