Abisso will officiate Milan’s clash against Parma – the Rossoneri’s record | OneFootball

Rosario Abisso has been named the referee for AC Milan’s game against Parma tomorrow. It’s a crucial game for the Rossoneri and fans will be happy to find out that the record with Abisso is positive.

Interestingly enough, Abisso has officiated ten Milan games before and hasn’t awarded more penalties to any other side (7 for the Rossoneri, the same as Fiorentina). Six wins, two draws and two defeats have been achieved in these ten games.

Only one straight red card (three for second yellows) has been handed out by the referee to the Rossoneri, more specifically to Olivier Giroud in the 2-2 draw against Lecce. It was a completely fair card to hand out, it should be noted, as the Frenchman heavily insulted the referee and later apologised.

The aforementioned was also the most recent Milan game Abisso officiated, so this is the first of the season for him. Hopefully, the Rossoneri will continue their positive record with the referee, even if it ultimately comes down to themselves and not the guy with the whistle.
