Al Hilal renew contact with Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah | OneFootball

Mohamed Salah (32) is currently set to leave Liverpool at the end of the season having not managed to agree on a contract extension with the Premier League club.

It is a situation that Paris Saint-Germain have been paying close attention to, however, they may face stiff competition from Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal. According to an exclusive report from L’Équipe, the Middle Eastern side have restarted contact with Salah’s entourage offering him the chance to play for the club from next season.

Salah has been a long-term target for the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) who control many of the top clubs in the Saudi Pro League. However, the French outlet writes that no formal offer has yet been provided to the winger.

With Neymar (32) linked with a move away to the MLS, a foreign player spot in the squad would open up for Salah (as would a significant amount of the salary currently tied to the often-injured Brazilian star).
