Louis Saha with some ‘interesting’ comments on Joshua Zirkzee, Rasmus Hojlund and Alexander Isak.

The former striker continuing to live his dream of Manchester United eventually signing the Newcastle United striker.

Louis Saha saying that if/when Manchester United sign Alexander Isak, as well as scoring goals, Isak would “…help players like Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee improve.”

You have to laugh.

The disastrous way that Manchester United are ran, thankfully made even worse by Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s arrival, is exactly why they have wasted well over £100m on the likes of Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee. As opposed to the outstanding signings made by Newcastle United under Eddie Howe – Isak, Botman, Pope, Tonali, Hall, Gordon etc etc.

Help Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee?

They are beyond help!

How on earth anybody thought this pair were worth £100m+ for the pair of them is a mystery. For starters, Rasmus Hojlund is far too slow for the Premier League and Joshua Zirkzee is even slower! As summed up when the latter was subbed after half an hour or so when Alexander Isak and Newcastle United were battering them at Old Trafford this season.

Rasmus Hojlund has scored two goals in 20 Premier League appearances this season and Joshua Zirkzee has scored three goals in 25 PL appearances.

Of course, the even bigger laugh than the thought of anybody capable of turning Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee into quality Premier League players….is exactly why if for any reason leaving Newcastle United, that a world class striker such as Alexander Isak would for a second consider going to Manchester United???

Newcastle United with a cup final to look forward to and fighting for Champions League qualification, whilst Manchester United are sixth bottom of the Premier League and fighting the threat of relegation!

Louis Saha speaking to ‘Best Betting Sites’ about his ongoing dream of Alexander Isak signing for Manchester United – 20 February 2025:

“Alexander Isak…it’s been two or three years that he’s playing at the top, top level now.

“He’s able to score his own goals and he is also capable of creating chances for his team mates, he gets a lot of assists as well.

“He doesn’t create as many goal-scoring opportunities as Harry Kane, but he’s definitely that type of player that can be effective at the top end of the pitch.

Alexander Isak is a player that can really help younger players by showing them the ropes, and this is the type of impact we need from our next striker. He has to carry the burden of responsibility but at the same time, he has to help players like Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee improve.
